Mr. Godfrey Townsend: I have admired your work for years, ever since listening to "Alan Parsons Live in Madrid". I think you are a phenomenal guitar player and performer. You were definitely an inspiration for me when I started playing music. I look foreword to your future projects. Thank you so very much. Sincerely, Nathan

I'm a 64 year old bassplayer, having been playing for a bit over 40 years, all in local bands, and mostly for fun. John was one of my earliest inspirations and I still miss him although I never met hm. A great loss on many levels. I really appreciated reading your recollections.

I brought a group of disabled adults to see the Happy Together Tour at Mitchell SD tonight, and one thing that the group agreed on was that it wasn't just the 60s icons that entertained, but you and your band were magnificent! Loved watching you switch from guitar to keyboards, and you have the face of a 60s rocker without all the wrinkles. LOL. It must be so much fun to be you!

Hi Godfrey, Unfortunately I was not aware of you until I purchased the DVD of Alan Parsons Live in Madrid. I was truly impressed by your guitar work. Absolutely amazing stuff. You are right up there with the greatest. All the best, George.
