Hi Godfrey... We finally got to see the Eric Clapton B-Day show @ BB King's, on Friday night, 3/30. Great show!!! And what a greater surprise to see Marc Newman? on stage with you guys…He is a great guitarist!… I remember him from the Hofstra “George Harrison” tribute. Love the guitar riffs between you and Marc! Especially enjoyed your playlist going from “Clapton” to “Layla” to “Blind Faith” to “Cream”… Loved the EC version of” Little Wing” …it was always my favorite between that one and Hendrix’s anyway…. Being a BIG fan of Steve Murphy, couldn’t wait to hear him do justice to Stevie Winwood covering the “Blind Faith” era…While it seems his “mike” wasn’t on loud enough, he did not disappoint!!He never does!!! Love him!!!!What an amazing voice and drumming skills!!!!. Never stop telling your “stories” between songs…Some of us really do enjoy hearing the rapport between you all on stage; we laugh right along with you….!!!! You truly are an amazing talent ; the entire band is awesome!! Thanks for always giving us great music!!!!

Hi Godfrey, This is Mark from CK '74. We spoke before the show the other night and it which turned out to be one of the best live shows that I have seen in many years. The last time I saw you play live was about 35 years ago with Alexis. I I found your Joe Fuocco refwerence to be funny because I remembered that particular show at CK. Congratulations on your Hall of Fame Induction. I plan on attending the Sons of Cream Show in May with my wife and daughter. Will be looking for forward to say hi again. Thanks. Mark S Class of 74

I went to KJ Farrells on Friday night to see you with the G.T. Band. I have to say I hate the show that you guys put on. Way too self indulgent. The setlist is not to my liking. Its all about Godfrey and Murphy. Not enough Monte. My wife and I support live music often. i first saw you at a free show in Throggs neck Bx at Veterans Pk. Since then I have seen You over 30 times . From KJ's to acoustic shows, George Harrison show 4x, , Hippiefest 3x, Clapton show at BB's 2X. Last week acoustic with Kenny at KJ's I know what the band is capable of and sick of the same sorry setlist. 30 minutes of No Quarter, 2 long instrumentals. I miss the days when You did alot of Sting , APP etc.mix it up, not just long instrumentals, You have 3 great singers, people love to hear songs. . Also , why all the BS between songs.. Its like waiting for a horse race. GT youre the best. Your talent is undeniable . Some people travel long distances to see you. Think of them...
