Had the good fortune to see you and John Montagna perform an ultra- intimitate set at that little spot PJ Harpers in Valley Stream on Friday. Half expecting the gig to have been a missprint, I was thrilled when you came through that door and was treated to an evening of unforgettable music and stories. There were a few of us there that night who commented that we didn't think everyone else was aware of the gift that night. We were and I thank you and look forward to seeing you at BB Kings on 2/23. Thanks. And you did Kenny Rankin proud, rest his soul.

Subject:John memories, and your show tomorrow night
We will be seeing you tomorrow on Long Island. Seeing you were such a close friend to John, hope to hear some of his music. Saw him in mid eighties play LI at Sundance. He signed my Who by Numbers and Whistle Rhymes albums. He appeared to be having a good time, and probably wondered how this kid had a copy of that solo album. Still have both to this day. I hope he's well up in Heaven w Keith on the kit and Rory on guitar, one could only wish. P.S. I hope you play a Rory Gallagher tune or two, thanks Chris.

Subject:Great Webpage Godfrey!
Finally stopped by to check out the page, Godfrey....Outstanding... Really enjoyed the stories and the photos...Especially your memories of John Entwistle. John was my first influence on bass and I'm a HUGE Who fan to say the least. Got a charge out of your Led Zeppelin story as well.... 15 bucks, what a bargain! :-) You and I share a common ground with our choice of music and I always enjoy reading your insight and opinions on certain musical topics.... Hope to jam with you someday, I have a strong gut feeling there's some heavy musical chemistry and communication lurking between us.... I actually felt that the first time I saw you play on the Entwistle DVD.... All the groovy best to you, Jonathan
