Hi Godfrey. I just wanted to send a quick note to tell you that we had such a great time Friday night at BB King's. You were all fantastic ~ we especially loved all of the new tunes you included in the set. It was nice chatting with you before the show. I'm sending your friend Lou an email to see if he'd be interested in painting one of my acoustics (something in the vein of SRV). Thanks again for creating a wonderful evening for my friends and me. Take care, see you soon.
Ver-r-r-r-ry nice site. I especially enjoyed all of your Audio Rarities section; but, in particular, your interpretation of the Moonlight Sonata. It was absolutely wonderful; thank you for including it!
I saw you a couple times with the JEB. I'd love to catch another show with you as a performer in your own right; perhaps, someday soon I will.
I once briefly spoke to you at a Who after show at MSG in 2000 about the palpability of your deep feelings for John and how (IMHO) it was good that he had friends such as you around him. That love is still as apparent to me now as it was in only the few times I had previously seen you together at shows and at the tour bus interacting with fans. You and Gigi were friends who cared immeasurably for him. As a fan of The Who and John's immense talent, I miss him and can only imagine the empty place you and Gigi have in your hearts.
Wishing you the very best,
