I don't know if you remember me, but we met back in the 60's in Ridgewood, Queens. I had a local band there with my brother, and we would practice in my basement on Grove St. I hung with Sal Caruso(RIP), who taught me quite a bit. In fact, you know the kind of guy he was...he loaned me a 1957 LP Jr for about 3 months, so I could do a gig at the Continental Lounge and save up for my own LP Custom. My guitar had been stolen...story of my life back then.
Anyway, with such name recognition, I of course remember you.
I have a buddy who works in Manhattan, and we try to get to BB's when our favorite acts are there...I couldn't make your last show, but perhaps next time. Best regards to you.
Hello Godfrey. this is the firs time I visit your web site. Last december APLP came to Monterrey and make my dream come true. You gave me the last pick of the show, Im sorry that when you were back to the stage to perform a little more, you didn't have one. I actually reached the stage to return it, but had one already. So I stayed right in front of you, enjoyng every riff of yours. I honestly think of you as a guitar hero, (mostly because I Love APP). I'm 21 and nobody understands why I like your music. If they only had a chance to listen to you.
I hope I can see you on stage one more time near monterrey.
Now, my new dream is that you get to do an unplugged-kind-of concert with Alan and the rest of the project, You should suggest that to alan ;).
PD. I gave away all of my Micromachine cars, Damn!!
Hi Godfrey! We're waiting for the end of January to run to buy your CD! (many amazing musicians working together, we gotta have it).
Wish you the best for 2007 and hope, from our hearts, to see you all perform live again soon here in Argentina!
Happy new year!
