Not sure you will remember me Godfrey, but I met you Christmas/New Years 2003, Turks and Caicos. Godfrey put together a House Band and played at the Island for a few days. It was Fantastic and definitely made my Vacation. Me and some friends were staying at the Club Med when Godfrey and the "NY City All-stars" showed up and played 2 nights. Also during that time I was lucky enough to get to perform a few songs with Godfrey on Acoustic guitar at "Sharkys on the Beach" Godfrey played Acoustic, and I sang "Behind Blue Eyes". Thanks Godfrey I have pictures of that week at Club Med. I'm really happy to read about all of the Success you are having and keep going strong my friend! Please let me know if you are ever performing in Toronto Canada, we have a great music scene here and can always offer support and accommodations. Peace.
I have known Godfrey for over 20 years and I am so truly happy to see all of his hard work and dedication to music culminate in success. It made me feel very old to see Joe(the doc's son) jump onstage at BB Kings to jam with dad.I was at Josephs christening!! You sure have come a long way from the carbarns Doc. Keep making great music. And if you speak to Frank, tell him I saw Labita last year on Forest Ave. and he was wearing a pair of oxfords. Its an inside joke, but he'll get it.
All THE BEST
Thank You. The last time I saw you was when you performed at Michigan Tech. University with the Alan Parsons Project Live. Fantastic shows. The after show reception was quite an experience. You really are a "people person." No ego trip - just one of the guys. If you ever get back this way, I'll be in the front row with a smile on my face and your harmonious vibes flowing through my heart. You have been blessed with indescribable talent. Thank you again.
Is there anyway to purchase one of your imprinted guitar picks?
