HIPPIEFEST

SUMMER 2008

Each night, the show opened with Jonathan Edwards, bravely walking out onstage solo with his acoustic guitar & harmonica.

My son Joe, along with Manny, Steve and myself joined him for two of his biggest hits, "Sunshine (Go Away Today)" & "Shanty".

This photo was taken during the second show of the tour at the

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Seattle, Washington - July 12th, 2008.

Jonathan was one of the most together and nicest guys I have ever worked with.

One of my favorite rock legends to perform with is Joey Molland

who was the lead guitarist for the famous Apple band, "BADFINGER".

We opened with "Baby Blue" and followed with "Come And Get It"

which was written for the band by Paul McCartney.

Every night I enjoyed the extreme honor of playing George Harrison's

slide guitar part on the ballad, "Day After Day".

We ended Joey's set with a powerful rendition of "No Matter What".

Joey is a great guy and a fun person to work with and hang out with.

He's a great light-hearted entertainer with his "Liverpool" accent and Beatle-ish sense of humor.

I've been working with Joey since 1995.
